Thank you heavy metal fans. Thank you for visiting this website. If you love death metal, this is the place for you. No, Death metal is not dead. In fact, it is alive and well and is kicking as all over the world. You only get on a plane and go to Rio de Jainero, Los Angeles, to Paris, to Moscow, and then certain parts of Southeast Asia to know full well that the scene is alive.
It doesn’t matter the color of the people playing this music. It doesn’t matter the length of their hair. It doesn’t matter what their language is. You can feel the raw, untamed, and invincible energy that truly incapsulates death metal. This is one form of music that cannot be intimidated or reduced to a safe formula. There is no chance about that.
It is fast-moving, illusive, slick, and if you’re not careful, it would sneak up behind you and possibly stick a knife at the side of your throat. That’s the kind of raw urgency death metal is all about, and this amazing focus on death as the central philosophy for life is what makes it meaningful to a lot of kids all over the world.
If you are a big death metal fan, help us out. This website is a labor of love. It is not well-polished. Oftentimes, it feels like we are just throwing spaghetti at a wall hoping that something sticks. And guess what? That is exactly the kind of feel you get with this website. It is very experimental. There are many thoughts that are half-baked and half-explored. There are many taboos that are almost debunked and dissected but we did no go all the way.
So what kind of help do we need from you? First of all, we need money. Okay. there, we said it. We’re not ashamed to say it. There’s no shame in this game because if you follow death metal, you know that there’s really no money in this scene. There never was; there never will be. That is what is so awesome about this scene.
This is about sincerity, authenticity, and living for the moment. Accordingly, we have our hat out. Now, it is a digital hat, but it’s a hat nonetheless. When a musician that you love plays amazing music in an open area, that really touches your soul and makes your emotions dance. The least you can do is to reach your hand into your pocket and grab some cash. Now, pull back that arm, walk over to the hat and put the money in.
so do us all a favor – donate. Also, if you know of any death metal acts in your town or city, speak up. Post pictures. Preferably, post pictures of them getting drunk or having people in a fight. Post real, live, gritty pictures, not pictures of guys all smiling, being corny and shit. We want real pictures.
